Peace Race, 1954

This print is a reproduction of a classic Polish poster, originally created to promote the 1954 International Peace Race, its seventh edition. Known as the Wyscig Pokoju, this prominent multi-stage cycling event was hosted annually across Poland, Czechoslovakia, and East Germany. The race was recognized globally under various names, including Friedensfahrt in Germany, Závod Míru in Czechoslovakia, Velogonka Mira in Russia, Preteky Mieru in Slovakia, Course de la Paix in France, and Corsa della Pace in Italy.
