Griffon, founded in the heart of Paris in 1898 by Eugène Peugeot, originally made waves as a bicycle manufacturer and a maker of motorcycles. The company was quite ahead of its time in advertising, using vibrant colour posters to showcase its array of products. This iconic vintage cycling poster, created by the well-known French artist Jean Matel in 1910, is a perfect example. It highlights Griffon's diverse offerings - from bicycles and motorcycles to the lesser-known trivoiturettes.

You are looking at our museum quality giclée print on fine art paper with a slightly textured surface.

Our frames are handmade from high-quality ash, milled for simple, clean lines with a satin finish. The FSC certified off-white mount won’t fade over time and is glazed with acrylic Plexiglas.

We think this design works best as a framed and mounted print, but it is also available without the frame here.
