The famous 1895 Cycles Gladiator poster depicts a nude, red-haired goddess flying with a wing-pedaled Gladiator cycle through a starry sky. Created by unknown artists for the French bicycle manufacturer Gladiator Cycles, founded in 1891 in Le Pre-Saint-Gervais, Seine, this historical artwork is a collector's gem. Printed by G. Massias in Paris, only four originals remain, with one fetching $31,200 in 2012.
A museum quality giclée print on fine art paper with a slightly textured surface.
Our frames are handmade from high-quality ash, milled for simple, clean lines with a satin finish. The FSC certified off-white mount won’t fade over time and is glazed with acrylic Plexiglas.
